I, too, will swing for Uncrustables if there is a sale and coupon. But alas, as you said, these deals are few and far between. And I don't even have the excuse of littles in the house--I just like the things and so does my youngest son. (He's 19, don't tell anyone.)
I need to get one of those PC thingies. I bet you could make a lot of things with them (pocket pizzas, maybe?)!

I never thought there would ever be a more cost efficient way to get those sammies kids love. I flat out refuse to buy them and then just make more work for myself when I have to cut off all the crusts.

Speaking of cake wrecks. I was in charge of ordering one of those big birthday cookies for a department head who let's just say was less than generous. His name was Doug and I didn't catch that the baker changed the writing on the cookie to "Happy Birthday, Dong" and that is exactly what I presented to him in front of all the coworkers. Oops! I think it was just bad karma coming back at him. Luckily I moved shortly after so didn't have to deal with the aftermath. Whew!

Hook me up to the other side of that caffeine IV - oh wait, that wouldn't do would it? Anyhow I love your blog and your goal of frugality. My idea of frugil = never go anywhere. Haha! We raise chickens and pork and grow a garden, that helps some. Think it can't work in SoCal? I snuck chickens into a housing development down there but I'm glad to be up north and have some more space now. Ahhh, this is getting long. Nice to meet you!

@ Struggler - what I do for the high parts is put the cleaning solution in a bowl, soak my cloth diaper in it & wring out, then fold it up and attach it to my Swiffer Sweeper. No need to get up on a stool or ladder. Or chair. :-)
